To our community:

With the increasing severity of the COVID-19 crisis, we are providing this update on how we are addressing the issues at Team Body Corporate.

Our objective is to provide our customers and the wider community, with the best of service standards in this ever-changing environment. We also need to provide a safe work environment for our team.

We, like you, are experiencing impacts on our business and lives as we navigate these trying times. Most of our team are working remotely, however, we have a small team currently working in the office.  They are there to take calls and direct traffic, as it is important to maintain a personal front to our business whilst keeping our team’s health and wellbeing at the forefront of our priorities. Currently, these team members cannot work from home, however they are working strictly within the Queensland Government Health Guidelines.

As a locally owned and operated business we have a team of twelve (12) outstanding employees and our intention is to keep them all working throughout this difficult time. Our team are currently receiving a significantly higher than usual volume of communications and requests and are working tirelessly to respond and help in a timely manner. This does cause some stress and tension and we ask for your understanding and calm in dealing with our team as we are having to prioritise workloads and requests.

We are currently prioritising our responses to requests in the following order, taking into consideration immediate deadlines:

People’s wellbeing (High priority)

  • Issues directly related to the health and safety of our customers due to COVID-19

Managing financial scenarios (High Priority)

  • Implementing strategies with Committees to ensure the sustainability of the Bodies Corporate
  • Financial & insurance matters
  • Paying bills

Facilitating Meetings (High Priority)

  • Conducting General and Committee Meetings by Zoom

Maintenance issues (High Priority)

  • Major maintenance issues that have an impact to the liveability or safety of a lot or scheme

Miscellaneous issues (Lower Priority)

  • Maintenance issues that do not impact liveability or safety (typically cosmetic)
  • Behavioural challenges amongst neighbours within schemes (typically take up a lot of time)

We understand this is a time of great uncertainty and trust this helps to manage expectations in regard to our priorities and communication.

We appreciate your on-going patience, and support and understanding.

Regards

Andrew and Marianne Davidson
